Hi my name is Jessica, and I am asking for donations on behalf of supporting my best friend Haley and her family. They have recently gone through a great loss, the unexpected passing of her father Douglas King, just last week 1/18/22. He was a very caring father and giving friend. The burden is heavy, and most things seem to have fallen on her shoulders. A grad student at UConn just beginning her last semester to graduate with her masters in social work, who is also completing unpaid internship hours counseling weekly, and working part time to be able to support herself, Haley is an unbelievably strong woman. Her plate is already full, and seeing everything she is going through breaks my heart. Family and friends are doing all they can, and yet it’s still so so much. I’m asking for the kindness and graciousness of others to help build her support net even wider and stronger at this time. Just the cremation costs alone are around 2,000$ and we have no access to any funds as of yet. With so much to tackle any donation would be helpful and we appreciate everything so much, even just a share. Everything will go to memorial expenses and unexpected costs as everything will take months to come to resolution. Thank you all
