If you've ever met Haley Bankston, you know she's one of the kindest, most selfless people around. She's the type of person who always shows up—for her family, her friends, her patients, and her coworkers. She gives without expecting anything in return and consistently puts others before herself. Her heart is big—and if you've seen her with her Golden Retriever, Sunny, you know just how big.

Sunny isn't just a pet. He's family. He's the peanut butter to her jelly, the mac to her cheese, her constant shadow, and loyal companion. From the moment she brought him home, Haley has poured everything into raising Sunny with love, care, and dedication. She's given him a beautiful life filled with joy, adventure, and unconditional love.

But now Sunny is sick—and Haley needs our help.

At just 2 years old, Sunny is currently in the ICU. A combination of gastroenteritis, an obstruction, and emergency abdominal surgery put him in the hospital, and now an ileus (intestinal paralysis) has left him hospitalized far longer than anyone expected. The veterinary bills have already exceeded $10,000 and continue to climb the longer he needs to stay hospitalized.

Haley has done everything possible to give Sunny the best care. But it's hard to prepare emotionally—or financially—for something like this. And while many of us feel helpless in moments like these, this is one way we can make a difference.
