Help Haley Recover from a Severe Brain Bleed
Donation protected
For those of you that don't know me, I'm Krissy, Haley's older sister. I'm asking for donations based on Haley's current situation.
On the morning of September 15th Haley began complaining of not feeling well, which escalated rather quickly to a severe headache and exessive sweating. The situation had gotten worse, she laid down to a defensive position and had very labored breathing. Tory, her long time partner attempted to help her through this but quickly realized this was an emergency and called 911. It was suspected she suffered a seizure when medics arrived. Shortly after getting to the hospital she was quickly taken for a CT scan, the CT showed a massive brain bleed and she was rushed to surgery. Surgeon's have diagnosed her with MOYAMOYA Disease. Currently, Haley is intubated, heavily sedated, has 2 drains inserted to each side of her brain to drain the blood and relieve pressure. She has been receiving TPA. There is no part of her body that is not hooked up to some kind of drain, tube or pump. We are at the very beginning of this fight, these first 48-72hrs are crucial. She will remain in the ICU for quite some time. There is a very long road to recovery ahead of this very strong girl.
Haley is an extremely hard working young lady, she is a Pharmacy Tech and a server. She has never once asked anyone for a single hand out, she finds a way. Most times working 7 days a week. She is 23 years old with a whole life ahead of her. This is a girl who was dealt an unfair hand at growing up and despite that came out on top. She is feisty, beautiful, has a mouth like a truck driver yet her heart is pure, small but mighty, the biggest brown eyes that draw you in. Along with Torrey, she has her 2 rescue cats Bristol and Bubba whom she adores more then anything. Haley will be off of work for an undetermined amount of time, she carries the health insurance for herself and Torrey. Any donations received will go towards bills that arise during this time medical, rent, utilities etc. Tory needs to remain by her side, so taking time off of work will be best and this will give him the ability to keep his focus on Haley. My brother Cory and I will be very involved in her care and should there be any questions please feel free to reach out to either of us. We appreciate any amount, welcome prayers, good thoughts, vibes- whatever you got we will take.
Haley, I fought for you when you were 5 and won, I will move mountains to make sure this is no different ❤️
