Help Haley Get To Southern Fried Poetry Slam 2025!

Hey y’all! I didn’t want to be at the point that I needed to do this but finances are super tight and any support would be a huge help. I’ve been involved in the poetry community for over two years now and after everything, I’ve gotten incredibly serious about it! Next week, I’m traveling to Knoxville, TN for Southern Fried National Poetry Slam and I am competing with Orlando Poetry Slam. It’s one of the biggest and most competitive poetry slams in the country and it’s going to take a lot of extra money that I do not have. I owe my team $132.50 towards my flight and $80.85 towards our rental. I will be there for almost a week and will need money for food as well. I am still paying off my mentor from my competition in December 2024 where I ranked 29th in the state and the Southeast region. That is also a little over $300 I’m super proud of myself but it’s becoming impossible to do it myself anymore, especially as I am moving next month. Leaning on my community is where I landed. Anything helps, even a dollar!
