My name is Eman Labad, and I am from G-strip.
The w@ar has not ended… and neither has our suffering. Every day still feels like a new battle for survival.
We lived through the destruction, fear, and endless nights of war — but even after all of that, life pushed me into another painful struggle.
I am newly divorced, and I am facing everything alone.
Recently, my ex-husband physically assaulted me — he injured my neck and my hand. I have been sick and in pain for an entire week, unable to afford even the medicine I need to recover.
Today, I am staying with my mother in a small, damaged home. There is a hole in the roof, and every time it rains, water pours inside and floods the place. We cannot keep warm or dry, and we have no way to fix it.
I am trying to survive in a life where everything is heavy — the war, the pain, the injuries, the fear, the lack of income. I am trying to hold on, but I cannot do it alone.
Even the smallest donation can help me buy medicine, fix the roof above our heads, and simply stay safe.
Your support can protect me.
Your kindness can give me a chance to start again, even while the war continues around us.
Thank you from my heart for reading my story and for standing with me in this extremely difficult time.
— Eman
