Hello, my name is Hala Ahmed, and I am from Gaza. I am writing this because I truly need help — life here has become a nightmare. My home was destroyed in the recent bombings, and everything we owned is gone. We had to run out with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Now, my children and I are living in a crowded shelter with hundreds of others who also lost their homes. There is no electricity, no clean water, and barely any food. Every day, we wake up to the sound of explosions and cries for help. We don’t know what will happen next.

My little son is sick — he has been coughing for days and has a fever, but I can’t find medicine or a doctor who can help him. The hospitals are full, and many have been damaged or closed. I feel helpless as a mother, watching my child suffer and not being able to do anything. Food prices have gone up, and most shops are empty. Sometimes we go a whole day without eating. When we do find a little food, we share it among everyone, even the neighbors, because we all are in the same pain.

At night, it’s even worse. We have no light, no safety, and we can hear planes and bombs in the distance. My children cry from fear, and I try to comfort them even though I’m just as scared. Every moment feels uncertain — we don’t know if we will survive the next day.

Please, if anyone can hear me, we need help. The people of Gaza are suffering so much. We need food, water, medicine, and safety. We want peace, and we want the chance to live a normal life again.
