My cat Haku means the world to me. Recently, he managed to get into something he shouldn’t have and swallowed a large piece of rubber, which caused a dangerous blockage in his intestines. I rushed him to the vet, where he needed emergency surgery to save his life. Even after the surgery, Haku still wasn’t feeling well, so I had to take him back to the ER for more appointments and stronger medication. It was a scary and exhausting time, but I did everything I could to help him pull through.

Thankfully, after all the treatments and care, Haku finally started to recover. Seeing him get back to his playful self has been such a relief. However, the cost of his surgery and follow-up care quickly added up, and I ended up maxing out most of my credit cards just to make sure he got the help he needed.
