My name is Emma Lane and I’m an artist and mother in the UK. I am raising funds for a contemporary artist and children’s art teacher, Mario Pierre-Louis who is also known as Atis Art. He resides in Haiti, which is now overrun with horrific gang warfare.

Despite the harrowing conditions, Mario continued to created a haven for children to make art, providing them with art supplies and food via donations.

These people now need our help to escape the city and survive.

I am asking for any donations, big or small to send aid to this family.

Port-au-Prince has been taken over 80% by armed groups.

The humanitarian crisis is worsening as gang violence escalates leaving thousands killed or wounded; over a million have been forced to flee their homes, including over 55’000 children now living in life threatening conditions. Violence towards humanitarian workers has gone up 75% since 2024 leaving them with restricted access to lifesaving aid.

These people are trapped in a nightmare.

1 in 2 face a severe lack of food; they are parents with children suffering severe malnutrition as well as the trauma of losing their homes and possessions.

They are vulnerable to mass killings, assaults, abductions, exploitation, widespread underreported sexual violence and disease.
