Dearest all,

I write with an immense amount of humility and continued gratitude as I ask for support in funding my US visa application. Fees have become exorbitant and arts organizations are now unable to include supporting artists from outside into their budget. Due to how things are unfolding in our world right now, application fees have spiked, wait times have prolonged, and rejections are plenty, all in hopes of deterring those from outside from trying to work in the US.

I am choosing to power through, aiming to continue my work with my favorite organizations, and to try my absolute best to be present in spaces where my voice is welcome. Even those where my voice isn't, I feel like it is important for me to at least try and show up. I cannot make a difference if I am not there. We cannot make a difference if we are not there. All of us.

Any contribution would be insanely helpful. I am embarrassed to even ask for help, but my therapist said it's okay to ask, that it's important to ask.
