Help Hailey Rebuild After Unimaginable Loss

Lost my son and now my home.

My name is Hailey Lowery and this is my story. On May 2nd I woke up at 9a in pain and by 10:30a I had entered DePaul Hospital. I was told by the doctors that my son had passed away in the womb. On May 3rd I gave birth at 5:55a to my full term son, Raheem Jr.

As painful as it was, I had to plan his autopsy and what to do with his remains. I’ve been out of work since April 23rd, with very limited resources.

As if it couldn’t get any worse, on May 12th, someone stole my phone which had all my son’s pictures and videos.

Unfortunately for me and many others, On May 16th, at 2:31p the tornado struck my house to the point where it is unlivable, destroyed.

I have lost everything in a matter of 16 days.

Yet, I am grateful to have my family who blessed me with a few nights stay in a hotel.

I’m running out of resources and would appreciate any help that can be given.
