My name is Hailey, and I’m 24 years old. I’m reaching out because I’ve been struggling with carpal tunnel in both of my hands, which has made even the simplest tasks—like holding my phone, playing games, vacuuming at work, or typing—painful and difficult. The pain is constant, and it’s taken away a lot of my strength and independence. I have to wear a brace, and my hands often swell up at night, making it hard to sleep and even more difficult to get the rest I need.

Recently, I left a very abusive relationship and am now focusing on what I need to do for myself. I live alone and am the sole provider for myself and my cat. Facing surgery on both hands is overwhelming, especially since I don’t know how long I’ll be out of work or how I’ll manage to pay for the surgery, physical therapy, groceries, rent, and other bills while I recover.

Getting support from this fundraiser would mean the world to me. It would help cover the costs of surgery, therapy, and living expenses so I can focus on healing and getting back to a normal life.
