Our daughter Hailee has always been passionate about soccer, and her dedication has recently opened an incredible opportunity. On April 12th, she attended a College Soccer Prospect ID event in Corvallis, where she played in front of multiple college coaches. Out of nearly 100 athletes, fewer than five were selected to advance based on coach recommendations—and Hailee was one of them. Because of her talent and perseverance, she’s been invited to an invite-only National College Soccer Showcase in Florida this summer, where she’ll represent the West region and compete in front of NCAA coaches from across the country. We’ve already secured her spot, and now we’re working on covering travel and lodging, as well as building a small fund to support future opportunities like this as she continues pursuing her goal of playing college soccer. Hailee is a humble, sweet, and kind young lady with a 3.71 GPA, and she has persevered through many trials and tribulations in her life. Through those challenges, she has grown into an amazing, bright, and beautiful young woman who works hard and fights for what she wants. We are not a poor family, but we are definitely not rich, and we truly appreciate any help that can be given to us. Funds raised will cover travel, lodging, rental car, and other expenses for this event. Any extra raised will go toward future events to help Hailee through her high school career until she gets into college.
