Help Hady stay in Canada. Residency Fundraiser.

Hello Bys,

I am fundraising to pay legal and lawyer fees that will allow me to become a permanent resident of NL, Canada. With your help, I will be able to travel with my team to the world championships in Portugal this November without the fear of not being able to return to Newfoundland. Not only I will be able to travel to train and compete outside Canada, but obtaining my P.R. will also allow me to go visit my family again in Egypt after 5 years apart without worrying about not being able to come back to my home province of NL.

for those of you who don't know me, my name is Hady. I am a fighter, a coach to many and a national champion in Martial Arts representing my beautiful province of Newfoundland. I have been blessed to live, train and teach in Newfoundland for the past 7 years and I am grateful for being a resident of this beautiful Island I call home. As a way to give back, I fought in national championships representing NL and I medalled 6 national medals, and I have coached 100s of people in Martial arts in St.John's, helping to build a strong resilient community for a better future in NL.

Now I have an opportunity to travel with my team to the world championships and also visit my family after half a decade of being apart. But unfortunately, because of my fight for Canadian permanent residency, the uncertainty of my situation now stands between me and the freedom of travelling to compete and see my family.

This has caused me immense pain and stood in my way of achieving my dreams of travelling for competitions, accessing education, medical help or even the ability to work in Newfoundland. I missed profound milestones in my family's life for me to be where I am today and be the champion I am today, so all my sacrifices and time away can be meaningful and pay off.

With already 15000$ in lawyers and legal fees in the past few years fighting to stay in Canada, having to pay another 8000$ dollars in legal and lawyer fees is something that I cannot afford. Therefore I decided to turn to my community and ask for your help. I have hesitated a lot in writing this but I know it's okay to ask for help when needed and especially from a community that I know loves, fights, and cares for me.
