Help Fouda Family Rebuild Their Lives

Donation protected
Dear donor, I'm Margaret, and I will manage this campaign for my friend Hadi and his family, I will tell the story of Hadi and his family.

Hadi and his family (his mother Huda, Bashar, and Mohammed his brothers) went through suffering, but for ten months they have been going through unprecedented suffering, and they lost everything. On the second day of suffering, the family house was demolished, and they miraculously survived, but they lost all their memories and everything they owned with it.

Here are pictures of their destroyed house:

After the destruction of their house, they fled to their relatives' house for seven months until their region become unsafe, which forced them to flee again
But this time it was much more difficult because there was no house to shelter in, so they fled to the sea area and set up a simple tent there.
It was all suffering, there was no water, no food, nothing to sustain life, and they all became poisoned due to water contamination and the lack of water suitable for drinking or use, and if available, it is at high prices.
The following is a picture of their tent in the sea area:

They stayed in the Sea area for about two months, but it didn't stop there. As the area became unsafe, they had to flee to a different place again.

This ongoing suffering is devastating, it destroyed their future.
Hadi is super smart. During his high school studies, he received an English Access Micro scholarship provided by the American embassy in Jerusalem, sponsored by AMIDEAST, and graduated with honors.
Hadi continued to excel, as he finished high school last year with a high mark that enabled him to qualify to study medicine, a specialty that has always been his dream, but the University, which he registered to study, has been closed.

This photo is from his graduation ceremony from the AMIDEAST scholarship

Hadi's mother Huda is an old lady who is unable to live in the suffering and the constant movement and walking long distances due to the lack of transportation.

Bashar has graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy and he used to work in a drug store, but it has vanished and he lost his job
Below is a picture of Bashar while he was working at the pharmacy:

Mohammed was supposed to graduate this year from the university, where he studies Biotechnology, which is his favorite specialty, he was supposed to be employed at the university as an assistant professor due to his academic excellence and being the top of his specialty, but his university has been closed, and postponed his dreams.
Here are pictures of Mohammed during his time at the university:

Dear friends and donors, the situation is tough as there is very great difficulty in obtaining everything, for example, clean and drinkable water is not available, food is not available and they can only find canned food, which is not always available, and if it is available, it is at very high prices, which negatively affected their health and led there to lose a large part of their weight and health
Life here has become hard and almost impossible Medicines, even simple ones, such as painkillers, are not available, and this is very difficult in light of the spread of epidemics.

Here is a picture of the available canned food:

Updates
On January 19, 2025, the temporary ceasefire finally began. We were overjoyed to be able to return to Rafah. However, upon our return, half of the city was within the buffer zone, and the other half was so badly damaged that we couldn't even recognize it. Several days after the ceasefire began, we decided to return and live in Rafah, despite the devastation. We had absolutely nothing with us, and we stayed in our relatives' home, which fortunately hadn't been destroyed yet.
We repaired what could be repaired in the house and stayed there until March 2025, when the war resumed again, more violently than before, the crossings were closed again, famine returned again, and prices rose again like crazy.

Once, Bashar miraculously escaped a random gunshot that almost hit him in the head, and another time, Mohammed, Hadi, and a group of people miraculously escaped a bomb dropped by planes on a shop where they were buying goods.
This is a picture of the bullet that Bashar survived.

On the morning of Eid al-Fitr, we woke up to the news of the martyrdom of an entire family of our relatives as a result of the random bombing. It was shocking and disastrous news. All ten members were martyred. Then, the next day, we were forced to leave Rafah again and flee once again.

There was nowhere to go and time was very short to search for a place amidst the destruction, so we decided to return to Deir al-Balah. We returned with nothing and the random bombing surrounding us from all sides.

We are now displaced inside a tent in Deir al-Balah and we do not have any necessities of life, not even water. The markets are completely empty and if we find something, its price is crazy and we do not have the money to buy it. Even medicine is unavailable and neither is bread. With all this death surrounding the place, our weight is decreasing and we are starting to become thin.
Therefore, during this period, we need your support and donations more than ever, and we will try to keep you informed of developments whenever the opportunity allows. Thank you in advance for your support.
