Hades has been my companion for 12 years, ever since I adopted him from a local rescue when he was just six months old. He lives with me and my other cat, Scoops, and has always been a gentle, shy, and curious soul. Hades has beautiful dark fur that lets him hide in the shadows, but in the sunlight, it turns a warm brown. He has his favorite people and absolutely loves playtime, especially with his sisal mouse—a toy his foster parents gave us when I first brought him home.

Recently, while giving Hades some scratches, I noticed a lump between his shoulders. Concerned, I took him to the vet, who recommended not only a biopsy of the mass but also a dental cleaning. The dental cleaning is important because plaque buildup could be causing him pain, making it hard for him to eat, or even leading to infection. The biopsy is necessary to check if the lump is cancerous, and catching any issues early could make all the difference for his health and happiness.

Anyone who is able to help has my sincerest appreciation. My current financial situation is rough, and I wish I could give Hades the care he needs right away, but I am not in a position to do so.
