Help My Boy Hades Fight for His Life
Emergency Veterinary Fund for a Sweet 6-Year-Old Akita Mix

Hi, my name is KaCee, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart I’ve ever had.

My sweet dog Hades was admitted to the emergency vet in critical condition. Over the past few days, he stopped eating, became severely lethargic, and began losing weight at an alarming rate. When we arrived at the ER, he had a dangerously high fever—and bloodwork revealed that he has virtually no white or red blood cells. His spleen and gallbladder are swollen, and the vets are deeply concerned that he may be battling a form of blood cancer or a serious autoimmune disease.

Hades is only 6 years old. He’s my whole world—my shadow, my comfort, my best friend. Right now, he’s hospitalized and undergoing round-the-clock care while we wait on more tests, including ultrasounds, x-rays, extensive bloodwork, and a bone marrow aspiration. The hope is that we can find out what’s wrong and give him the treatment he needs to survive.

So far, I’ve spent over $6,000 on emergency care—everything I had and more. I’ve maxed out all my credit cards, but I’m not giving up on him. He’ll be staying in the hospital for at least three more nights, and the costs are only going to rise as we continue testing and, hopefully, begin treatment.

I’m asking for help to raise $12,000 to cover:

Emergency hospitalization

Imaging and lab tests

Bone marrow aspiration

Specialist consultations

Medication or treatments once a diagnosis is made

Follow-up care for recovery

Hades is still fighting. He’s showing us he wants to stay. I just need the support to give him that chance. If you’re able to donate, share, or simply send prayers—we are so, so grateful. Thank you for helping me fight for my best friend.

With love,
KaCee & Hades
