Help Hadeel, Maram, and their Family to get out of the Hell

A Call for Life – Help Us Survive Gaza

My name is Semein Washington from the United States, and I’m organizing this GoFundMe campaign for Hadeel and Maram Adnan Abu Nasser, two young women from Northern Gaza whose lives have been completely devastated by war. These are their words:

My name is Hadeel, I’m 23 years old and a recent graduate from the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences. I used to live a simple, stable life with my family, dreaming of a better future until the war came and took everything away.

On October 12, 2023, we lost our beloved father due to a brutal airstrike on civilian homes. He was our backbone the one who sacrificed so much to make sure we got an education and had a future. He was killed in cold blood, and we never got the chance to say goodbye.

Then, on April 3, 2024, we lost my sweet brother with special needs due to malnutrition. We couldn’t afford the food he needed, and we watched him slowly fade away before our eyes.

My name is Maram. I recently graduated from high school, and my dream and my father’s dream was for me to go to university. But the war began during my first year, and I’ve had to stop my studies because we simply can’t afford it anymore. My dream died before it even began.

Our home was completely destroyed, and we now live in a shelter that lacks the most basic necessities of life no privacy, no electricity, no clean water, no safety. Each day is a struggle just to survive.

We are now only six family members left, with no breadwinner, no source of income, and no real shelter. We live in fear, hunger, and despair.

We are pleading with you from the depths of our hearts please help us leave Gaza before it’s too late. We want nothing more than to live in peace, continue our education, and rebuild our lives with dignity.
