Help Ha Tran in her Stage IV Lung Cancer battle

Ha is a beloved friend, coworker and community member. She has been a part of our Seattle community for 8 years working part-time at restaurants to send financial support back to her family and village in Vietnam. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung cancer in late October 2023 and has been going in to get fluid drained from her lungs on a weekly basis. Because of her diagnosis and declining health, she hasn't been able to work and is now unable to support herself. Cynthia, one of Ha's previous employers, has been helping Ha financially where she can and has helped Ha sign up for different social services since she hasn't been able to work.

Ha is 61 and does not have any family here in Seattle and so she has not been able to get any treatment for her cancer as she is unable to find rides to and from the hospital for treatments. She doesn't have a vast community to support her during her treatment period. She's hoping to go back to Vietnam to spend her days there with family and friends who can care for her during her treatment period.

Due to limited access to banking by Ha, Cynthia Hoang is the recipient of funds For the Benefit Of (FBO) Ha Tran.
