This just haven't been the best week for me. From my Oma's passing and funeral, my chipped tooth (luckily it's stable at the moment) and now my boy, Gyulee.

After my Oma's funeral this past Wednesday, my cousins and I decided to visit her home on 4th of July to just remember her and to collect some memorabilias from her home. I had Gyulee with me, like always, and was excited for him to play with my family.

I was in the garage going thru some stuff (I didn't want him to be in there because it was hot, 102 F, and there were so many things on the floor that can potentially be a hazard for him) so I left him inside with my family so he can just be a dog and play.

And of course, he is a dog. And puppies are wild. I wasn't there to witness but he apparently jumped from the top of my Oma's bed to the floor and potentially slipped and landed wrong. There were so many clothes on the floor, so he may have just landed wrong. I rushed him to the ER and as a result, he managed to fracture both of his front legs (radial and ulna bones).

They had to sedated him for the xrays because he wouldn't stop screaming in pain

He ended up with a splint and an Ortho consult for Wednesday.

Today he was getting restless and just refuses to go potty, so I called my Vet and took him in. Surprisingly, my Vet does Ortho surgeries and is working in to get Gyulee in for surgery tonight or the latest tomorrow morning. I am so happy that we can schedule this as soon as possible.

But of course, the big hiccup will be the funds. I am grateful that Gyulee has insurance BUT everything has to be paid upfront, also not everything will be 100% covered due to the nature of the insurance. I am currently scrambling to get some funds thru credits and hopefully I can get them covered.

This gofundme me is to help me cover any additional costs that will come up. Most likely I will hit my max annual limit for Gyulee's insurance because he is getting both legs repaired . Also, I have burned thru my PTO because I just started working again last Nov (so my hours are super low) and I recently got sick and had to use all of my hours. Any remaining funds will help me with any upcoming bills.

I was hesitant to start this but friends and even strangers have messaged me that they are willing to help I appreciate you all so so much.
