Help Gypsy Fix Her Unfound Water Leak

Hello Friends! You all know me as Gypsy. A rare few of you know me as MeLissa. And an even rarer few of you know me as Missy.

I live on a beautiful 11+ acre woodland property in Murphysboro that I named Smallwood Homestead in 2012.

On May 14, 2025, I discovered that I had no water in my taps. After calling the Water Dept. and verifying they were no longer working on the sewer system on my street, they sent a man to see what might be going on.

At that time, the City determined that I must have a leak, and shut my water off. However, the man from the City could NOT determine where the leak was, only to say it was not in the trailer, not under the trailer.

Since May 14, 2025, I have had 4 DIFFERENT PLUMBERS to my property to find this leak. NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIND IT.

Again, the City and 4 plumbers have not been able to find this leak.

And I have spent what little money I had saved up to pay my property taxes on "free estimates" from these plumbers.

I live on disability. I get $942 per month. That's it to pay all of my bills with. It leaves nothing for emergencies, which this is.

I have to get the plumbing fixed somehow by winter. So I'm asking for help now. I know it's going to cost a lot. I've been quoted anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000.

I need your help.

Thank you friends for taking care of me. I love you all so much.
