I've known Gwen for about 10 years. She needs help getting to a better place. Here are her words.

"Hello, I'm Gwen. I am a transfemme, a widow, and a member of the working poor living in a deep red Southern state that is becoming increasingly hostile to me. I have always struggled here, and losing my partner has made this struggle feel insurmountable. I don't think there's any hope for a future for me where I am currently. For these reasons I am fundraising so that I can move to Washington state and transition. Thank you."
