Hello my name is Matt Adamson and I recently reached out to one of my old friends to check on him. Thank you God for the nudge. He sent me a video of all his belongings and where he was living. The video was very short, but he was completely grateful and excited about his new job, working for a nearby church. He and his two cats were living in a wooden box behind his aunt’s house who just passed away that day. The circumstances in the home are unfavorable to his healing. I booked a flight from Houston to Tampa immediately to go assess and assist. I have spent the entire weekend searching out options to get Guy out of “The Box,” to no avail, while he continued to work and volunteer at his church. His heart is on serving God no matter where he lives with his two cats. I have made countless phone calls, texts, and FB messages trying to figure this out. I have created this gofundme to help get him an RV to live in with his cats. If you would like more details, please reach out to me or Guy to help fill in the blanks. Beware, his story is like none other. He has surrendered to God and is now surrounding himself with this loving church community. There are many more stories of his selfless servitude around disabled veterans and more. Everyone I talk to tells me a new story of how Guy helped them or others in need. I believe it’s our turn.
