Help Gustav Live: Support His Surgery

My name is Alan and my wife and I are trying to help our wonderful dog, our best friend and constant companion. He is a 7-year-old mixed breed canine named Gustav. He needs a Splenectomy. What is that you may ask? His spleen has growths on it that may spread or could burst, causing internal bleeding and almost certain death, if that were to occur.

Our veterinarian at the Durango Animal Hospital in Las Vegas has urged us to have this procedure so that Gustav can live out the rest of his years without this high risk. I have attached documents from the clinic. We would like to have the surgery as soon as we have the funds for it.

Times are tough everywhere right now, we know that. Gustav is a wonderful, protective and valued member of our family. He can be expected to live to be 12-14 years of age, or even longer.
