Gus is a funny, quick-witted, high school student. He loves his family and his battle buddy Rex. Even though he has been battling with Muscular Dystrophy, his mom says that he is always smiling through it.

Gus was recently life-flighted to Spokane and his mom had the following to say:

"We are now faced with some awful decisions. We knew this time would come, just not this fast. Gus's heart is just not strong enough to pump blood back and forth in his body. As long as he's hooked up to all the machines, he's here and alive. He had what the doctors think was a viral infection and his body just couldn't fight it off.

This family is faced with an unimaginable choice and shouldn't be worried about finding the money to get their entire family to Spokane. Any amount of money will help this family in this difficult time.
