Help Gus Gus breathe easy: His journey to a better life
Donation protected
Gus Gus isn’t just a dog—he’s family. If you’ve ever had the joy of meeting him, you know he’s full of personality, love, and endless snuggles. At just three years old, he should be running around without a care in the world, but unfortunately, his breathing has become more and more difficult.
Gus Gus has Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS), a condition common in French bulldogs that makes it hard for him to breathe properly. After much research and countless vet visits, we’ve made the tough decision to move forward with BOAS surgery to open up his airways and give him the quality of life he deserves.
This decision hasn’t come easy. The cost of surgery is high, and as a content creator and social media manager, my income can be unpredictable. I’ve saved and set money aside, but after receiving the final estimate, I realized I could use a little extra help. Anyone who knows me knows I never like asking for help, but for Gus Gus, who is my whole life I’m putting my pride aside.
If you’re able to donate, even the smallest amount, it would mean the world to us. And if you can’t, we completely understand and would be so grateful if you could share this to help spread the word. Every bit of support—whether financial or just by getting this in front of more eyes—makes a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring about Gus Gus as much as I do. We’re hopeful that after this surgery, he’ll finally be able to breathe easy and God willing my boy can continue to live his happiest, healthiest life.
With love,
Lesly and Gus Gus
