Gus is more than just a pet... he’s family.

He’s been diagnosed with mast cell cancer, and what started small has quickly turned into an open tumor that now needs surgery as soon as possible. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking.

Gus has been a constant source of comfort, joy, and unconditional love in our lives. Anyone who has met him knows how special he is. Gus was the only boy in his litter with nine sisters, and we also kept his sister Remi. Remi is timid and doesn't trust new people, but Gus is the total opposite. He loves everyone he meets, especially if you give him good scratches or treats. He has always been Remi's comfort blanket, and the two of them are like glue. Where one goes, the other follows. Gus and Remi have grown up with our kids and are truly our four-legged children.

We’ve already spent so much on vet visits, testing, and care just to get to this point. Now, the surgery and treatment is more than we can manage on our own right now. The surgery will help Gus live a long, pain-free life and allow him to continue bringing joy and comfort to our family and friends. Our goal is to get Gus the care he needs so he can heal and continue living the happy, loved life he deserves.
