My name is Mike Bell, but this isn't about me, it is about my dog nephew, Gus.

What started as a basic vet visit to address weight loss and urination led to a diagnosis of diabetes and has devolved into constant pissing of blood and "the possibility" of a blood clot, or something worse, in his bladder. My dude was so thin I started crying as soon as I entered the visitation room, but he seems like himself, just exhausted and drained. Every time he needed to expel the blood that is collecting in his bladder, his whole body quivers and shakes. He was perfectly fine two months ago when I last saw him. He is currently staying overnight for a 2nd night at the animal hospital.

Whatever it is, it is becoming an expensive series of bills for my family. I will add more information as it becomes available. I recorded some video/audio of the discussion with one of the doctors. I know in this age of AI-created bullshit it might seem like this could be a farce, but I assure you that Gus is a real dog, one of the best dogs, and deserves a fighting chance.

Medical bills can completely cripple families. I don't believe it is Gus' time to go. 100% of donations will be used for Gus' existing and future medical bills.
