My son's dog, Gunner, escaped our fence last night and was struck by a car. He suffered a concussion and a broken front and back leg. He is a strong boy and is expected to make a full recovery, but he has a very long road to recovery with many surgeries needed. He is our baby and the sweetest boy. He is only 4 years old and has so much life to live. Please consider donating any amount to help cover the cost of surgeries and aftercare that will be needed. Also, pray for a healthy recovery for our boy.

11/04/2024 UPDATE

Gunner is currently in surgery to get plates in both legs. The surgeon is very confident he will make a full recovery and be back to running and playing within 6 months. He will be able to stand and put weight on his back leg right away but will still need assistance walking. We truly appreciate all of the donations and thoughts and prayers. Every little bit helps with his large surgery and emergency vets bills as well as the aftercare. We are hoping he will be home to heal by this Thursday.

11/05/2024 Update

Gunner finished surgery around 5:30 last night and did well. they are weening him off IV pain meds and got him standing up today. he also started earing again which is a move in the right direction to get his strength up. He is showing his sweet personality and wining over the affection of all the nurses and Dr's. tomorrow we should have more answers on when he can come home.

11/11/2024 update

Gunner was able to come home 11/09 and is resting cocomfortably. he still struggles with use of his one back leg but is making progress everyday. it's going to be a very long road to recovery and we just have to be patient. we are thankful for all of the support. please continue to pray for healing for Gunner.
