This is Gunnar! He's a 10 year old German Shepherd who is THE BEST boy of my friend, JC! Today JC received devastating news: Gunnar has a tumor on his spleen that is causing internal bleeding, lethargy, disorientation, and dangerously low blood pressure. He hasn’t been his usual happy & energetic self, and more concerning, this tumor could rupture at any time and become life-threatening. At today’s vet appointment, JC learned that Gunnar’s spleen needs to be removed as soon as possible.

As we all know, life is already incredibly expensive, and unexpected medical costs (especially for someone you love so deeply) can be overwhelming mentally, physically, and financially. If you’ve ever had a furry family member, you know how quickly veterinary expenses can add up and how helpless it can feel when their health is on the line. Gunnar’s surgery is scheduled for this Friday and will cost $1,700.
