Help Gumbus Get Medical Care

Hi! Gumbus seems to be headed down a kind of pricy medical road again. The goal that I set is for her sedated oral exam/ scope. There is a good chance that she will need to have surgery as well. She has been gagging frequently, hard swallowing, and having cough/ gagging episodes. Basically, we are thinking that there is an issue with her stomach or her soft palate. She just had a swallow study and we are currently waiting for a more in depth analysis and further results.

Based on what the vets saw, they are saying that we will likely have to move forward with doing a scope and surgery. That being said, there is a small chance that we will not need to move forward with either, but realistically we probably will have to.

Last year when Gumbus got her teeth removed I did not know until the day of that the price was going from 4,000 to 10,000. This seems like it could be a similar case. I won’t know until the day of the scope if they are going to move forward with a surgery, so I am just trying to prepare. From what her vet is saying, with surgery and scope it could be around 10,000 dollars. Since we have gone to the vet a lot recently, I am having trouble keeping up with the expenses. With all that being said, regardless of the outcome all funds donated will be used for Gumbus’s medical expenses.

I am incredibly grateful for everyone who donates. It can be pretty difficult keeping up with all of her medical expenses at times. I will always give her any medical care that she needs. It has never been an option on whether or not she will be receiving the medical care when finances are low. I have and will go into debt for her, so I really do appreciate any help.
