Help Guinness Recover After Emergency Surgery

Guinness is my 4-month-old puppy, and she means everything to me. We’ve been working hard to socialize her, so we bring her out with us whenever we can. Last night, we took her to dinner at a restaurant in Pensacola that had a gravel patio. We think the rocks were covered in food, and that’s why she ended up eating so many of them. We had no idea until she suddenly became very sick, and we rushed her to the emergency vet. That’s when we found out she had eaten nearly 2 pounds of rocks and needed immediate surgery to save her life.

The cost of the surgery is overwhelming, and I simply don’t have the money to pay for it all. My best friend and I have been applying to every grant and resource we can find, but so far, we haven’t heard back from anyone. We went ahead with the surgery because we couldn’t imagine losing our girl, but now we’re facing a huge bill that we just can’t cover on our own. All the funds raised will go directly to paying the vet for Guinness’s surgery. I’m willing to take on anything I can afford, but I just can’t do this alone.

This has been such an emotional experience, and we just want to see Guinness healthy and happy again. Any help or support you can give would mean the world to us and to Guinness. Thank you so much for reading and for caring about our sweet puppy.
