My name is Isabela Moreira, my husband Guilherme, he is a kidney transplant patient, who has been fighting for his life from the day he was born. More than 20 surgeries over those years until he got the kidney transplant a few years back. He has to be really careful to ensure the health of his kidney. At the beginning of March, he started to not feel well , with symptoms of an infection, and it only got worse. Because of this, he couldn't work, and for many days I couldn't work to take care of him and to take him to doctor's appointments. He was admitted in the hospital because his condition got worse. His bladder is compromised and his kidney function is dropping . He has a severe bladder infection and the doctors suspect sepsis. We are waiting for him to be transfer to Mass General Hospital in Boston, which has a better treatment for transplant patients. I’m with him every day in the hospital. Because of this, we are behind on all our bills. We can't pay the rent and basic household bills. We can't use our car because we weren't able to renew the insurance policy that expired this March, and with him being transferred to Boston, I will need help with transportation to get to the hospital, since I don't drive. We still don't know how long he will be hospitalized. We really need help. Thank you. God bless you!

Meu nome é Isabela Moreira, meu esposo Guilherme Moreira, hoje ele é transplantado do rim, e luta com esse problema desde quando nasceu. Foram mais de 20 cirurgias até conseguir o transplante alguns anos atrás. Desde o transplante ele tem que estar em constante vigilância pra garantir a saúde do rim. No inicio do mês de março, ele começou a sentir se mal, com sintomas de infecção e só foi piorando. Com isso não pode estar trabalhando, e tive que faltar ao trabalho pra cuidar dele e acompanha-lo as consultas medicas. Tiveram que interna-lo pois o quadro se agravou. Ele está com uma severa infecção na bexiga e os medicos suspeitam de sepsis , a função renal está baixando. Estamos esperando uma transferencia para o hospital Mass General em Boston que tem melhor tratamento para transplante. Estou com ele no hospital. Com isso estamos com as contas atrasadas. Não temos como pagar o aluguel e contas básicas de casa. Estamos sem poder usar o carro pois não tivemos condições de renovar a policy do seguro que venceu esse mês de março, e com ele sendo transferido pra Boston, vou precisar de ajuda com transporte pra ir e vir pois eu não dirijo.
