Support Guery & Family after devastating accident

ENGLISH: Our dear friend, Guery Villarroel, is clinging to life, in critical condition with a 10% chance of survival following an accident that severely damaged his brain.

On the evening of Feb 29th, around 10:00 pm, Guery was found unconscious by a good Samaritan lying on the street, with deep injuries to his head, bleeding profusely, and convulsing. This incident occurred around 142nd Street and 144th Avenue in Miami, near his Food Truck, p̶o̶s̶s̶i̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶t̶r̶u̶c̶k̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶a̶ ̶v̶e̶h̶i̶c̶l̶e̶ after hitting a pothole and falling off his scooter. We are waiting on the footage. (investigation is on-going.)

Emergency responders transported Guery to Jackson South (Miami), where he underwent immediate and extensive brain surgery that lasted longer than anticipated. Currently, he remains at Jackson South hospital in the ICU. Post-surgery, doctors have informed us that three crucial parts of his brain are damaged: his speech, emotions, and memory.

An ongoing police investigation aims to shed light on the details of the incident.

Guery is a wonderful husband, hard-working father of four, a man of God, and an incredibly faithful friend. He served as the primary and sole provider for his family, and although we hold onto hope for a miracle, it seems he may not be able to work again.

We humbly ask for your prayers and financial support to cover his emergency surgeries, extensive medical expenses, and to assist his wife Angie and family during this challenging time.

Los servicios de emergencia trasladaron a Guery a Jackson South (Miami), donde fue sometido a una cirugía cerebral inmediata y extensa que duró más de lo previsto. Actualmente, permanece en el hospital Jackson South en la UCI. Después de la cirugía, los médicos nos informaron que tres partes cruciales de su cerebro resultaron dañadas: su habla, emociones y memoria.

Una investigación policial en curso busca dar luz sobre los detalles del incidente.

Guery es un esposo maravilloso, padre de cuatro hijos, un hombre de Dios y un amigo increíblemente fiel. Era el proveedor principal y único para su familia, y aunque mantenemos la esperanza de un milagro, parece que no va a poder trabajar nuevamente.
