Help Earthquake Victims in Venezuela: Community Relief Fund

My name is Saúl Orta, and I am a Venezuelan originally from Guatire, Miranda State.

After the earthquake, my family and I decided to create this initiative to support the volunteers who are dedicating their time and resources to helping people affected by this disaster. Our goal is to make sure assistance reaches the communities that need it most while being completely transparent with everyone who chooses to donate.

The recent earthquake has devastated Guatire, Guarenas, and many surrounding communities in Venezuela. Like many Venezuelans living abroad, I felt the need to help in the most direct, responsible, and transparent way possible.

Because GoFundMe does not currently allow fundraisers to be created directly from Venezuela, I created this campaign from the United States to give friends, family, and anyone who wants to help a safe and trusted way to support those affected.

My family and I will personally identify and support trusted volunteer groups and community-led relief efforts in the affected areas. We will distribute the funds based on the most urgent needs and ensure they are used to provide direct assistance to affected families.

Your donation will be used specifically for:

* Food and drinking water

* Medical supplies and first aid items

* Hygiene products

* Baby supplies when needed

* Transportation and logistics for delivering aid

* Other emergency supplies requested by volunteer groups on the ground

**Transparency is our priority.** We are committed to using every donation exactly as described in this campaign. As funds are distributed, we will share campaign updates that include receipts, proof of purchases, confirmation of transfers, and other documentation showing how the donations are being used to help affected communities.

You can also verify information about the earthquake and the humanitarian response through trusted organizations such as Reuters, Associated Press, ReliefWeb, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

Mi nombre es Saúl Orta, venezolano y originario de Guatire, estado Miranda.

Después del terremoto, mi familia y yo decidimos crear esta iniciativa para apoyar a los voluntarios que están dedicando su tiempo y sus propios recursos a ayudar a las personas afectadas por esta tragedia. Nuestro objetivo es hacer llegar la ayuda a las comunidades que más la necesitan, actuando siempre con total transparencia.

El reciente terremoto ha devastado Guatire, Guarenas y muchas comunidades cercanas en Venezuela. Como muchos venezolanos que vivimos en el exterior, sentí la necesidad de ayudar de la forma más directa, responsable y transparente posible.

Debido a que GoFundMe no permite crear campañas directamente desde Venezuela, decidí crear esta recaudación de fondos desde Estados Unidos para brindar a familiares, amigos y a cualquier persona que quiera colaborar una forma segura y confiable de apoyar a las familias afectadas.

Mi familia y yo identificaremos y apoyaremos personalmente a grupos de voluntarios e iniciativas comunitarias de confianza que estén trabajando en las zonas afectadas. Distribuiremos los fondos de acuerdo con las necesidades más urgentes y nos aseguraremos de que sean utilizados para brindar ayuda directa a las familias afectadas.

Las donaciones serán utilizadas específicamente para:
