Colectivo Lemow is a collective created by women using artistic expression to shine a light on struggles for human rights, promote critical reflection, and denounce gender inequality. Through cultural and artistic work, they empower, entertain, and create community in working-class communities in Guatemala with an eye to connect with others around the world.
Colectivo Lemow is designing workshops to train women in photography, mural-making, graffiti, music, communications skills, and community-building. In order to continue their work, they need a professional camera to replace their Sony A7 that recently stopped working! Join us in supporting their important work and investing in indigenous women building power and healing in their communities!
