We are the Georgia Tech Women's Club Soccer Team, comprised of 20 female student-athletes in Atlanta, GA. We compete every year at the collegiate level against other college club soccer teams in the South with hopes of qualifying for the Regional and National tournaments. This has been the most successful season in the club's history! We finished the regular season with a 6-0-0 record, won the Clemson Socctoberfest Tournament and our league division, and took 2nd place at the NIRSA Region II Tournament, competing against the best teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Virginia, and Mississippi. With our 2nd place finish, we qualified for the NIRSA National Championship in Foley, AL (November 18-20th), allowing us to compete against the Top 25 women's collegiate club teams in the country! This is the first time the club has qualified for Nationals.

 

We are so grateful and proud of the season we have had thus far, and are humbled by the opportunity to compete at the national level, but we need your help. COVID has had significant impacts on the school's budget for club sports, cutting our annual operating budget by more than half. Most of the resources we were allocated were used for the increased league travel this season and the costs of the Regional tournament. We strive to keep club soccer as accessible as possible for all students by keeping dues and travel fees to a minimum. To maintain the integrity of this, we are asking for your support to help us attend Nationals. Any donations will be used to cover travel costs, lodging for players and coaches, and other tournament costs to reduce the financial burden on our players and our already depleted budget.

 

We are so grateful for everyone's continued support in this historic & record-breaking season for our club. We surely would not have been able to accomplish what we have without the support from our school, peers, parents, friends, siblings, former teammates, and extended family from all around the country. We love soccer and hope you will support us in sharing that love! We greatly appreciate all and any donations or for those who are able to spread the word. Foley here we come!
