We are the Georgia State University Flute Studio, and we are honored to have been invited to perform at the prestigious National Flute Association Convention in Portland, Oregon this August. This national invitation recognizes the dedication and artistry of our students and includes the world premiere of a new work by undergraduate composer and flutist Natalie Ng. We are raising funds to help cover travel and participation costs so that all eight students can take part in this transformative opportunity. Help us achieve our dream of performing at NFA!
We are committed to full transparency in how funds will be used. Below is the estimated cost for our trip to the National Flute Association Convention in Portland:
Airfare (Atlanta ↔ Portland)
$600 × 8 students = $4,800
Lodging (2 nights, shared rooms)
4 rooms × $500 = $2,000
️ Student Registration (NFA Convention)
$150 × 8 students = $1,280
Local Transportation
$100 × 8 students = $800
Total = $8,880
Our Fundraising Goal
To account for travel price changes and additional fees, we are aiming to raise $10,000
Every contribution helps ensure that all 8 students can participate in this national performance opportunity.
