Why Collegize
Collegize is a FREE college readiness app designed and built to provide resources and guidance to the families that need it most, but I need your help! The current education system is not setting Black, Brown, and lower income students up for success. Countless families struggle to prepare for college and often miss opportunities and resources critical to going to, and graduating from, institutions of higher learning. After graduating from Banneker High School and Yale University, I went into education, and used my experiences to develop a curriculum that helps students and families, like mine, looking for college readiness help. In 2020 I turned my curriculum into the FREE Collegize app in order to put college guidance in the hands of as many families as possible.
Collegize Helps Families By:
1) Providing guidance to strengthen applications and help keep students on track for college success
2) Finding and helping apply to best-fit colleges
3) Finding and organizing scholarships, summer programs/internships, and Financial Aid resources

Why I Need You
Collegize is available for iPhone and Android. However, the tool needs many upgrades to bring the most value to families. Below are upgrades that I plan to make.
With Your Help I Can:
1) Add additional colleges, scholarships, summer activities, student resources, parent resources, and services to the app
2) Update college filters and build a college name search feature
3) Add advance filters for scholarships, summer programs, summer internships
4) Upgrade to premium notifications
5) Hire developer to maintain app, eliminate crashes and fix problems
Donation Tiers
Every dollar donated goes to help Atlanta-area families prepare for college. I work full-time and do not need any of the donations to go into my pocket. In fact, for donations of $100 or more I will buy you a FREE copy of my book The College Preparation Process on Kindle! Donations of $200 or more can request that I send a FREE paperback copy of my book The College Preparation Process to your house.
