Hello, my name is Werner Spreeuwenberg, and I am promoting English Billiards in the Netherlands, where I am currently the only player representing the Netherlands in international competitions.

English Billiards is a historic cue sport, widely played in the UK, Ireland, and parts of Europe, but in the Netherlands, I stand alone. Despite this, I have been working hard to compete on the international stage — and I am currently ranked #210 in the world.

In 2025 and 2026, I have the opportunity to play in several world ranking events in the UK, Ireland, and Austria. These tournaments are essential to improve my ranking, gain experience against the best players in the world, and proudly represent the Netherlands in a sport that has little visibility here.
