Help Grit go to Nationals in San Diego!

After seven years, Grit has qualified for our first Club National Championship Tournament!

Grit is a competitive ultimate frisbee team from Washington, D.C. that plays in USA Ultimate’s Club Women’s Division. This year we have qualified for Club Nationals in San Diego this October, where the country's top 16 women's teams will play for a national title! 2022 will be the first Club Nationals for 14 of the 21 players on Grit.

Attending Nationals means that our typical season expenses will nearly double. We estimate that our team costs (bid fee, lodging, rental cars, team food) will be about $9,000 - $10,000, while players will collectively spend $12,000 - $15,000 on flights and other travel necessities.

Raising $5,000 will allow us to keep 2022 dues per player closer to 150% (instead of 200%) of past years' dues and support players with flight costs as needed. Grit works hard to offset expenses and make high-level ultimate accessible through offseason fundraising and a sliding scale dues model. We could still use your help!
