Griselda Landa-Posas is a hopeful student in her last year of undergrad at Colorado State University. She is studying Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology and has a deep appreciation for nature and spending time outdoors.
Her involvement on campus has been profound and everyday she impacts students with positivity with her uplifting presence. Griselda’s love for the planet and her community is abundant by the everyday actions she takes to harvest both.
On Thursday morning, August 23rd, Griselda was hit from behind while riding her bike to work. During the accident she was thrown off her bike and into a railing. She sustained serious injuries to her femur and hip and is in the beginning of her journey to recovery.
The driver is still at large for a hit and run and is being investigated by Colorado State Patrol. The accident took place near the North Overland Trail and Laporte Avenue. If anyone who was in the area last Thursday around 6:30 am saw anything or has further information please forward that to the police. Griselda and her family deserve answers.s
