I am the Winchester City manager and I have set this up for a player who has given absolutely everything for my football team, he has also done the same at any football club he has ever played for and one of the best and most likeable people you will ever meet, Ollie Griggs!

Griggsy had been battling a really degenerative bad hip problem for several years, the time has come for him to do something about it and finally be left without the chronic pain he has to go through.

Unfortunately this operation will leave him unable to work for a sustained period of time and is a very expensive procedure, we are wondering if any of the Winchester family but also the wider footballing community will be willing to donate to help a real non league footballing warrior get back on his feet and able to live life without such pain, of course hopefully also back on a football pitch sooner than later too!

I understand that we are living in tough financial times at the moment but if anyone can donate anything they can it would be hugely appreciated.
