Hello there!
My names Griffin (he/they) and I’m trying to save for top surgery. I struggle with debilitating gender dysphoria and I am hoping to start testosterone soon but the nhs waiting lists are years long. Whilst testosterone will help my gender dysphoria it won’t help the immense discomfort my chest brings me. I will be paying for both testosterone and top surgery out of pocket because I cannot cope waiting years for an nhs gender clinic appointment. I am going to be getting top surgery abroad as it will be considerably cheaper. Top surgery in the uk is upwards of 10 Grand however it could be around £5500 including travel costs if I go abroad for it. Whilst not ideal circumstances this is the best option for me financially.
Any donation is greatly appreciated. GoFundMe has a £5 minimum so if you can only give £1 or even 50p I’m happy to arrange a different payment option. I will be setting up an eBay account to sell some stuff that will also go towards top surgery funding.
