Help Griff recover from Marshall Fire
Donation protected
This fundraiser is for Griff and his 10 yo son Osker. They lived in the 2BR/1BA downstairs apartment in my home at the Enclave - and the house, with all their belongings, burned to the ground. 51 out of 58 homes in The Enclave were totally burned down. We cannot tell the difference between things, all gray dust and ash.
They lost everything they had.
Griff was an amazing artist, and had many series he had drawn with colored pencils and pen and ink, then scanned in and adding digital water before creating beautiful unique custom frames. All of this, including the copies on CD were lost in the fire. They lost their clothing, all sentimental items from family like photos if parents and reproduced pencil drawings of them. All bike racing items including old pro card, and any medals to commemorate this time period in life. All he has is the blurry pictures below of some of his work.
It is hard to think of these things in any terms of money as they are priceless snippets of time, representing the here and now, and the once was and past. Now all of it is past and will fade in an uncomfortable itch of wait, this is important and no one will understand!
There are so many that lost so much it is mind boggling and can send you down a rabbit hole journey of inequity, haves, scale and loss. Every single one lost something that will be etched forever in them.
While money will not replace the treasures, it can help with providing the new space to be creative and start over. Many have kindly provided art supplies to get him back on track, this will help with the many expenses when starting over.
Thank you for helping them, Michelle
