Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my cat, Greyson. Over the past two months, he has developed a severe limp in his back right leg, which has now progressed to the point where he can no longer jump, play, or walk normally. He often drags his leg behind him, and it breaks my heart to see him struggling.
Recently, Greyson also began urinating and defecating outside the litter box, something he’s never done before. After multiple vet visits, we discovered that he has crystals in his urine that have not responded to prescription food or medication. Despite everything we’ve tried, his condition is worsening.
We recently had X-rays done, which came back normal, but the vet suspects a more serious neurological issue or spinal condition that X-rays can’t detect. To get an accurate diagnosis and give him the best chance at recovery, Greyson needs an MRI and further specialized care. These procedures are expensive and not something I can afford on my own.
Watching my sweet boy lose his ability to move and be himself has been devastating. He’s not just a pet he’s my companion, my comfort, and my family.
Estimated Costs:
• MRI + Consultation: $2,000–$3,000
• Additional lab work, medications, or surgery (if needed): $1,000+
• Travel/transport to specialty clinic in Ventura: $200+
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this to help spread the word.
Thank you so much for your love, support, and kindness.
With gratitude,
Angelina & Greyson
