This Halloween, instead of Trick or Treating with his big sisters and friends, 3-year-old Greyson is undergoing chemo at Westchester Medical Centre for his Stage 4 Ganglioneuroblastoma, a cancer that usually occurs in children 2-4 years old. A trip to the ER turned into a parent’s worst nightmare for one of Vassar’s nurses last week, and her world has been turned upside down as she stands by her son’s side during his aggressive chemo schedule. She will be out of work for the foreseeable future, and while her family life, as she knows it is on hold, bills still have to be paid.
