Help Gretchen Fight Lymphoma

On November 16th Gretchen had surgery to remove a tumor on her sternum. The following week she received the diagnosis that she has Non Hodgkins lymphoma.  After many tests including a PET Scan and a bone marrow biopsy, on December 14th she was told  she has primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma. This lymphoma is aggressive but typically responds well to treatment.

Gretchen is scheduled to start her chemo treatments the week of December 25th.  (Merry Christmas) She will need 6 rounds of chemo treatments. Each round she will be in the hospital for 5 days receiving chemo each day.  She is on chemo one week and off three weeks. Fingers crossed May 2018 will be her last chemo treatment.  At that time it will be determined if she will need radiation.
Gretchen is a teacher and her doctor does not want her to work during her treatments as she will be very susceptible to infections.

She beat breast cancer 4 years ago and I feel confident she will beat this too!!

Gretchen is one of my best friends.  Anyone who knows Gretchen will tell you that she is one of the most selfless, caring, and giving individuals you could ever be blessed with having in your life. Together let's help alliviate what stress we can for Gretchen so she can focus on getting her healthy again!

I am looking to raise money to help her offset her medical expenses.  Please consider donating.
