Hello Everyone, This GoFund me is for assisting in Greta’s Lifesaving Hospitalization Expenses.
Greta is a 1 year old Female German Shepherd. Greta loves her chew toys, chasing all the birds, and playing fetch every morning at the baseball fields. Greta has brought so much love into her owner's life with her endless need for cuddles and affection. She has been an absolute sweetheart whilst on her journey to becoming the perfect dog and She is fighting so hard to maintain that Journey.
On Tuesday 12/06/22, Greta was left unattended for two hours at home and chewed up and broke the lid off a Advil container ingesting upwards of 100 200mg tablets. Upon discovery of the situation Greta was forced to throw up and rushed straight to the VCA Animal Hospital for Immediate Lifesaving care. (Advil) Ibuprofen is extremely toxic to dogs and because of the amount Ingested Greta has been directed for a minimum of 72 hours Hospitalization by Vet Doctors and Vet Toxicologists. Vet Doctors have been giving her electrolyte fluids attempting to dilute her system and reduce the onset of critical symptoms.
Although options are limited, medications have been used to help maintain her vitals signs and prevent additional complications during her treatments.
Greta has been a lil Super Trooper through all of this. Despite all the discomfort both physically and emotionally Greta has been so polite and well behaved with all Vet Doctors and Vet Technicians involved with her care. Greta’s Owner has exhausted almost all financial options for continuing care past the 72 hour minimum.
Any money that is donated will mean the world to Greta’s owner and will go directly towards continuing hospitalization.
