Help Greta Attend the Ballet Summer Intensives of Her Dreams
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Greta and I’m a thirteen year old girl. I’ve loved dancing since I was really little, in fact, I was always dancing so my parents signed me up for tap dance classes at my after school program. When I was five years old, I went to see my first ballet, the Nutcracker and after I begged my mom to sign me up for ballet classes. Since then, I have never stopped dancing. I train six days a week from 4:00 to 8:30 in the afternoon at my ballet school in Miami on a scholarship, and I also devote my Sundays to ballet practice. I know I’m still young, but I know what I want to do. Ballet is my life. I want to become a prima ballerina, and I’m not afraid of working too hard in order to achieve my dream. Unfortunately, I know that my hard work isn’t the only thing I need to pursue my ballet career. Ballet is very expensive, and my family is already making a lot of sacrifices to support what I love but unfortunately they are not enough to take care of all the expenses. You would not believe how much a pair of pointe shoes cost (120$) and how many I need! I have to change my shoes every two weeks because they die. That’s why I’m writing this letter; I need your help. If you want to be part of my ballet journey, I would greatly appreciate some financial help (any penny will count!).
I am thrilled to share that I have been accepted to the School of American Ballet and Ellison Ballet Summer Intensives in New York City this year! They are some of the best ballet programs in the world, that a ballerina can only dream of attending, so if you’d like to help me with my journey, please help be me achieve my dreams by contributing to the tuition. God bless you all and thank you for taking your time to read my letter!
