Help Gremlin Get the Care He Needs!

Hello! Most of you all know Gremlin. He’s 7.5 years young and my baby boy. I’ve had him since he was a little runt barely able to walk yet He has been by my side through travels, 4 different apartments, abusive relationships and so so much more. Grem has always been a healthy pup besides a couple bumps along the road. Recently he’s been experiencing symptoms that are quickly worsening. He is barely eating and is losing weight I have to add drops of peanut butter to his food to get him excited to eat, he isn’t going to the bathroom, he doesn’t have energy to play and when he does he gets out of breath very quickly, he’s unable to walk up the steps without help and going down the steps he stumbles, lastly his eyes are red and un even and very swollen. I took him to an emergency vet on the 19th and they sent us home with eye drops because his vitals were fine. Then I took him to his primary vet and they took blood and urine samples. They found his liver enzymes are 380 when they should be at 118 but that’s all they found. They referred me to a neurologist and he thinks that Gremlin has a growth behind his eyes pushing on them causing all his symptoms and discomfort. He’s giving him a CT scan and biopsy to check for infection and diseases and cancers.

I usually don’t like asking for anything but when it comes to this I’m not going to shy away and not try everything I can to get Gremlin the care he needs. I’ve opened a Care Credit account for $1,800 and it’s all they’ve allowed me to increase it to. I’ve already used $800 for his vet appointments, blood and urine tests and nausea medicine to help him eat. I’ll be spending another $230 for the CT consultation, after the consult the CT will be a couple thousand dollars not including the medicine or biopsy and other fun things they need to do to see behind his lil eyes.

Gremlin means the absolute world to me. I’ve lived my life with him the past almost 8 years and can’t imagine not trying anything and everything for him after what he’s gone through with me.
